And I need a big trucker breakfast for a day of winter mountaineering. I use the frying pan and a plate to poach eggs in salsa & tomatoes, topped with grated old cheddar. I put some soft corn tortillas on top of the cheese and let everything steam under the plate. So, I use the XGK only in the winter as I don’t need to melt snow or boil water as much in summer. Summer Backcountry Set Up

I like to cook on the fire when I can and that why I usually travel with a grill.
