I don’t have anything planned for this shit post, but it’s -27 C and I’ve got nothing better to do.

I guess I’m trying to decide what to do with the products I develop. I already disclose a lot of these ideas and basically give it to the world, but the reality is that the world doesn’t give a shit. When ever I think about trying to commercial these concepts I remember that that endeavour will probably involve business and, worse, business people.

When I was directing the MPDP I met a lot of business people and I realized that I did not like them or interacting with them. Not to say I couldn’t hold my own, I could, but that’s because I developed an offensive approach to these interactions. I was pleasant, but because I saw how easily a pat on the back could become a knife in the back I was pretty much ready to take the jugular with the blade I kept close but out of sight (metaphorically speaking).

Anyways, I’m not a business person, I’m a designer and I get the most pleasure from seeing others happily using the products I create. This is why I make half hearted attempts to get these ideas out to the public. It would be great to actually provide solutions to someone’s needs.

I’ve been working on a couple of new products that are not really a qarabu or subobject thing so I have a new brand that I will use to market them. It’s call GXS.

As for the outdoor pursuits, it’s been cold and the snow is bad. I’ll wait until things improve before I start my backcountry ski season. As for now I’m cross country skiing and enjoying it!

Maybe more later, but I doubt it.
